We are up and away by 7:30 again, which is becoming something of a habit. During the morning we make good progress through pretty but boring countryside, we have to wait until 11:30 before we have an even half way decent climb between two hills and down to the Burn of Berryhill. Although we don't know it at the time we have walked past The Parsonage, home of the Guthrie's and a place that will become a place of pilgrimage over the coming years. After taking lunch by the burn we contour around the hills to the Clash of Whirren and onto the road at Stonyford before the last 5km to camp by the river near Bridgend. We are all somewhat foot weary after so many tracks today. J has a painful spot on her left foot, Anne has pulled a muscle in her right thigh, Mic has another blister and my feet ache! Good night.
