Day 11
Tuesday 22nd May - Braemar to Carn an t-Sagairt Mor
Breakfast was at 8:30 and consisted of a full English including bacon & eggs and plenty of tea. Mic & J went to the bank while my morning job consisted of doing a bit of hoovering in the front hall. That done I waited for Mic & J to return and we all left town at 11am.
We road walked for about an hour before following the track up to Callater Lodge in time for lunch. After lunch and a good rest we had a long pull up to Carn an t-Sagairt Mor after which we found a windy camp site at 950 metres (3100'). As we had decided to stay here for the night and forgo our rest day we should be able to finish on Friday evening. It will mean some hard work and quite a bit of road walking but we will be home by Saturday afternoon.
