We were up at 4:30 again and Mic prepared breakfast by boiling water and pouring milk over the cornflakes. We are off by 6:30 and are faced by quite a tough walk down Glen Loy to Achnanellan and the road head. The road leads us directly to the Caledonian Canal and we manage to pick up two pints of milk on the way. Today's lunch was to be a handful of sweets as we had already eaten it yesterday.

We used the small underpass to reach the canal tow path and walked on this to Neptune's Staircase at Banavie. From here we road walked the three miles into Fort William where we had a fry up in the station restaurant and then made a repair to Anne's rucksack. After lunch we only had a short 2 mile walk to the camp site where we had an early dinner and went straight to bed.
