Welcome to Doodlecat - where we enjoy the great outdoors and gather a range of news and views. Much of the content
is courtesy of the generous contributions from the splendid people who participate in the annual TGO Challenge, so there is
a wealth of outdoor experience here, especially if you like walking in Scotland - but we try to range worldwide.
The home page is where we post the latest news and views from the Doodlecat team. You can have your say
too! Just click on the 'comments' link on any of the posts - or if you have a story or photogallery that you think we'd like, then
let us know. Random Doodles and the
Image Gallery welcome guest contributions, as well as the perennial favourite, the
TGO Challenge pages
The blogroll on the right displays ten links to other sites that you might like to try out - there are a lot more, and the list will change each time
you visit or 'refresh' the page.
Enjoy your stay.
The Challenge Website
The Challenge Website is a bit lost at the moment - it appears that it has been moved to a new host, but the address does not, as yet, point to it.
So, in the meantime if you use
www.tgochallenge.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk you will go straight to the right place. Probably a good idea to bookmark it ("add to favoutites" in Microsoft parlance).
Thanks to John Jocys and Theo Fokker who put this information on the message board - the only reason it is here as well is in case you navigate to the message board from the website...in which case you won't have seen it!
The outline details for next years 30th anniversary Challenge are there under the "News" section. Worth a peek, especially if you are an old hand, as Roger is looking for more 'imagination' from us! What can he mean?

Get well soon, Uncle Phil
Thanks Duncan (my, news travels fast!).
Shame I'll have to miss the Dartmoor weekend, but a weekend with Al without a functional set of kidneys is a non starter! Hopefully the antibiotics will have me sorted in the next few days.
Bit of a blow. All the best. Get well soon.
Sad I wont get to know you on the trip. We will have to fix that soon with another walk. Do get well soon.
Thanks for your good wishes for Phil. Don't worry - I'll soon have him whipped back into shape. Ha!
Hi Phil
just read all this and discovered you are poorly - sorry you'll not manage Dartmoor - get well soon!
Thanks, David. Miss W has kicked me out of bed today, declaring that I am "looking better"!
It's the 'Ha!' that alweays hurts, isn't it Phil?
And she is now 'beasting' you out of bed. Even the British Army are not allowed to do that to their soldiers any more.
